Well, on monday classes start at fxphd and I can’t wait! This is going to be soooo awesome. I signed up after a friend showed me some of the classes, which were great. I think this will be the missing link I’ve been looking for.

From their site:  “fxphd was created by the founders of fxguide.com, the ultimate resource for high-end compositing and post production on the web. We provide high quality internet training targeting visual effects professionals.”

It’s $330 US to sign up and you get four classes, which is a total of 4, 30min videos for 10 weeks.  This also includes sample footage and sometimes plugins.  All of the work you do here can be used on your reel.
