Title sequence for a show called ‘overhaul underground’ centered around car modding and restoring. The theme was grungy, hardcore, and a little creepy, with a focus on multiple parts being part of a larger whole. After a bit of brainstorming the idea was hit upon to have the actors names on the actual components themselves. |
Originally this was going to be a fully CG spot. However due to time constraints and the desire to have a lot of photo real dirt, projection mapping was chosen. High quality photos were taken and then projected onto 3D so they could be lit and animated. Finally, these elements were composited together. |
