This is an interactive data visualization. The problem was how to map out all of the files on a computer that were associated with a certain applications. This program was designed to do that and display it in an easy to understand way while still allowing the user to access the technical data. |
Many different techniques were considered for how to both practically and aesthetically represent the data. There was also actual data samples collected to see what the information actually looked like. After research, sketches and comps, the final design was then animated to show user interaction. |
